Transcripts of testimony with indexes, briefs and related court documents, proposed findings of fact, reports, correspondence, and miscellany from a set of cases in which the states bordering on the Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence River sought an injunction to prohibit the diversion of water from Lake Michigan by the state of Illinois and the Chicago sanitary district. The cases were heard by a special master appointed by the U.S. Supreme Court. Full title: States of Wisconsin, Minnesota, Ohio & Pennsylvania, New York & Michigan vs. State of Illinois and the Metropolitan Sanitary District of Greater Chicago.
